The chunky gold neckclace comeback

In the 90s chunky gold chains were seen on Dior and Chanel runways. They were draped around the necks of models on the Bottega Veneta catwalk for autumn/winter and now pretty much every jewelry brand is bringing out its own homage to the look, from JW Anderson's jumbo take to Balenciaga's mismatching rings.
I've never really been a massive jewelry wearer but for the past year, I couldn't go a day without it. Gold necklaces are my staple. For my 18th birthday, I asked for some gold jewelry and ever since then, I haven't taken it off. I think that a gold necklace or two can make any outfit look 100% more classy and expensive.
I get all my favorite necklaces on the websites Lijo London or Neckontheline. Both these websites are set up by goldsmiths who have created a huge name for themselves by selling and advertising on Instagram.
Tips on how to style them...
- Jewelry always takes a standard blazer and tee to the next level.
- Wear the necklace trend alone or layered with as much other jewelry as you want.
- Pair your gold with a monochromatic look for an immediate luxe ensemble.
- For an even trendier approach, pair your chain with one of the season's most popular prints.
