Vague Skate Mag- 'In her shoes'

Brief: Create a visually led, creative digital report and photostory for Vague Skate Mag.

 

For this brief, I wanted to explore a subculture that we don't see being dominant within the skating culture, that being women who skate. This project explores the stigmas around females within the skateboarding community and how they feel about the representations surrounding them taking part in the seemingly dangerous sport.

Response: Strong illustration skills as well as confidence using adobe design software. I have an eye for composition and layout, great photography skills and my image manipulation is interesting, fresh, urban and contemporary
