I did bridal makeup and here are some of the prouducts I used...

On the 28th of December, my auntie got married in Braemar, Scotland. In our family, we all have different talents like my mums an amazing cook, my aunties a hairdresser, sister is a photographer and I specialize in makeup so between us all we had everything a wedding needs.

I did the makeup for the bride and all the bridesmaids as well as the flower girls and my mum, so as you could probably tell I was very stressed out in the morning trying to get everyone ready and picture-perfect for the big day.

The look I went for on the bride herself was very natural and glowy. I used golds and browns on the eyes to match her jewelry and the tones in her fresh flower headdress. For the bridesmaids, we all had the same burgundy dresses so I wanted to take the same color into the eye makeup. The day as a whole was amazing and beautiful. Having a Christmas wedding in Scotland was truly magical.

Before doing her makeup I practiced at home and tried out a lot of different products to see what would be best for her big day. It was a lot of trial and error with what would work in the pictures and the lighting we had so I had to use products with no flashback etc. As she has older skin I didn't want her to be really matt as it can make you look even older so I found glowy products that would work with her skin type which was combination/ oily. I've collated some of my favorite products that I used on her and the bridesmaids which would be perfect for any wedding makeup.
