In my spare time, I create a lot of graphic design pieces of work on photoshop and since I've recently bought a drawing pad to connect to my laptop I wanted to explore how I could bring it into my work. Some recent work I've been playing around with was based on a few graphic designers I'm interested in. Ana Strumpf is an artist who takes vogue covers and defaces them in a beautiful way. She adds patterns and colour to the photograph on the cover and creates a whole new piece adding a new feeling and perspective making it fun and playful. Ian Rankin was my photography influence behind this work as I wanted to use makeup to hide the identity of the model in an androgynous way.
